Relevo, as a platform bridging businesses and consumers, uses specialized terminology to describe its processes, systems, and goals. Below is a glossary of the most commonly used terms to help everyone better understand the mission and functionality of Relevo's reusable packaging solution.

Hardware

Relevos

Relevo items, as in physical cups, bowls and other reusables.

Relevo ID

See Relevo User ID.

Relevo User ID

A 6-character long identifier of a user in our system.

Reuse ID

See Relevo User ID.

User

A registered guest at a partner location doing the actual borrowing and returning of Relevos.

Guest

A person at a partner location that might not be already registered in the Relevo System.

Partner

The entity with several locations that we send our items to and eventually pays invoices for transactions.

Customer

See Partner.

Location

A real world place where a Relevo Partner uses the Relevo system.

Restaurant

See Location.

Location ID

Internal database identifier for a location where the Relevo system is in use.

Point of Sale ID

See Location ID.

Partner Portal

See Partner Platform.

Partner Platform

Web platform where customers can log into and manage their locations, analytics, as well as assign and return items.

Relevo Partner Platform

RPP

See Partner Platform.

Partner ID

ID for an integration with scoped access to different partners and locations.

API Token

See Partner Token.

Partner Token

A randomized password to authenticate yourself during API calls and authorize actions on behalf of scoped partners.

Admin Panel

Web platform where Relevo employees can log into to manage users, partners, locations, communication and items.

Admin Dashboard

AP

See Admin Panel.

F&B Group

A collection of individual Food and Beverage locations summarized under a larger logical group.

Deposit

An amount of money to be paid in exchange for an item that you get back when you return the item.

Friend borrow

App feature to scan the QR code of an actively borrowed item of another user to take it into your own account.

Friend return

Return Code

See Return Code Poster.

Return Code Poster

Usually a printed A4 sheet of paper with a QR code on it that must be scanned to initiate the return process in the user app.

Cycle

The process from activating a reusable item until it is returned and ready for reuse again.

Activation

Starting the reuse cycle of an item, usually through handing it out or scanning it.

Borrow

Borrowing period

The maximum allowed amount of time an item can stay activated.

Extension

User app feature to prolong the Borrowing period.

Climate fee

User fee for not returning an item to replace the item.

Category

Rough indication which type of item it is. Usually CUPS or BOWLS is accepted as values.

Meta Category

A more detailed description of the item category. This can for example be "800ml Bowl".
